Greenwich Country Day School seeks an Aquatics Director for its Summer Camp Program, running from June 29 to July 31, 2026. Compensation: 6k - 8.5k.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aquatics programming, including daily pool operations, scheduling, lessons, and supervision
- Ensure all pool activities follow established safety protocols and best practices
- Maintain clear group and lifeguard assignments and smooth transitions throughout the swim day
- Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies or safety concerns
- Strong background in aquatics, swimming, or water-based instruction
- Experience supervising staff and children in a camp, school, or athletic setting
- Current lifeguard certification (or ability to obtain prior to camp)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to camp)
- Water Safety Instruction certificate strongly preferred.
- Prior collegiate swimming, water polo, or coaching experience strongly preferred
